On the 12th of July 2003 " The Garden of the Senses " was officially opened
by Minister for Tourism and Sports John O'Donoghue TD.
A result of the hard work of 17 men and women who form a scheme that covers the
greater Sneem area and this project is an absolute credit to them.

Ken O'Leary

The landscaping design for the garden was done by Ken O'Leary of " In Season " in Kenmare. This area of the village is transformed into a serene walk down the banks of the Sneem Estuary. The Garden includes a bird island and a barbecue area and much more. The gardens are awash with colours, fragrant and aromas.
